To enhance the capabilities of our firm, EMC became a dealer and builder of Kirby Building Systems, which is one of the largest manufacturers of pre-engineered, steel building systems in the nation. Utilizing pre-engineered, factory fabricated components helps keep projects on schedule and within budget for our clients.

EMC's Construction Management approach utilizes EMC as a construction manager who acts as the customer's agent and is responsible for all phases of the building process, with exception of financial responsibility.

Unlike the traditional Bid Process approach, the owner and EMC, rather then the General Contractor, negotiate directly each construction phase with the subcontractor or supplier. Then EMC, as a construction manager, assumes overall responsibility for the coordination and completion of the project. Each and every phase of work is bid out and a subcontractor is chosen by the customer and EMC together, considering not only by the lowest bid but the subcontractor's reputation of quality workmanship and timeliness for completion as well.

It is important to note that EMC’s construction management team works as the customer’s agent and on-site coordinator.
